Rule 4007.1*(f). Deposition by Telephone (f) (1) The parties may stipulate in writing or the Court may, upon motion, order that a deposition by taken by telephone. For the purposes of these rules a deposition taken by telephone is taken at the place where the deponent is to answer the questions (2) The appropriate officer before whom the deponent is sworn shall be at the same place as the deponent during the taking of the deposition. After the deposition, the officer administering the oath shall file a written certification that the deponent was identified, sworn and deposed in the officer’s presence. (3) The parties’ agreement or the Court order shall prescribe the manner in which the deposition will be taken and recorded and may also include other provisions to assure that the transcript of the testimony will be accurate. (4) If any examining party desires to present exhibits to the deponent during the deposition, copies shall be sent to the deponent and all parties or their counsel prior to the taking of the deposition. (5) Nothing herein shall preclude any party from being represented in person or by counsel at the location of the deponent during the deposition.
