Rule 528(C)*. Procedure for Bail Bond. When a defendant or his/her private third-party surety has deposited a sum of money equal to ten (10) percent of the bail (but in no event less than fifty ($50) dollars), then upon full and final disposition of the case, the deposit (less the retention) and any amount applied to the payment of fine, costs and attorney’s fee shall be returned to the person who originally posted the deposit. Notice of the full and final disposition shall be sent by the Court to the person who originally posted the money at his/her address of record. Any money not claimed within sixty (60) days from the time of full and final disposition of the case shall be deemed as unclaimed and abandoned property subject to escheat pursuant to the applicable Pennsylvania Escheat Statute.
